Six factors when choosing a movie
Is the questionnaire? Are you a fan of the movies you watch every movie possible? Is it the genre, actors, plot? Obviously there is a combination of many reasons most people decide to watch a movie.
Here are my six factors when choosing a movie:
1. The Tragedy. A trailer quickly and effectively with a large cut in acting can certainly do the trick. Sometimes that's all I needed to pull to the theater. If that trailer is outrageously captivating, I'll do my best not to learn anything more about the film until I see it myself. If I hear a conversation about the movie, I walk or literally cover my ears to see what new for the first time without criticism from anyone. The trailer Failure of the film I had in front of the theater opening night.
2. Controversy. If there is even a dash of clash of opinions on the film, and has another interesting feature such as a great director, so I'm there. Some examples of controversial films that caught my attention is Boxing Helena, Do the Right Thing, Child, The Passion of Christ and the faces of death. This is not to say that I enjoyed some of these movies, but my curiosity was satisfied one way or another.
3. The plot / theme. A film that seems effective because of its content alone can certainly get my attention, even if I've never heard of actors or the director. There are always new talent out there, so why judge a movie simply because of their actors or the director before her. The plot for this movie should be deep, with a unique history. An example of one of these films is the lover.
4. The Director. I'm gonna run for any movie directed by the following persons:
Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez Martin Scorsese Paul Haggis
5. Gender. Did someone say horror? That I find I am not a monster to mention horror tear fanatic. Of course, the horror film can not be corny something like child's play or Puppet Masters "I bite my nails! So … Am talking about The Sixth Sense, The Exorcist, Texas Chainsaw, Pet Sematary … I am totally flexible with dramas. In this case I will check out anything that looks decent.
6. The Actors. The following players will take me to the movies without even seeing a preview: Will Smith Al Pacino Cate Blanchett
As you can tell, movie reviews were not on my list. I love to write and when I do I am very careful not to give anything away. If I think there's no way around giving a part of the plot away, just go writing about the cast or the director and producer. I do not want to hear comments before going to the movies. I form my own opinion. I will listen to check if someone I'm not interested in a movie with the hope of hearing something good about him. It seems that critics have lost some of its audience. film critics seem to be aimed at a older, while younger people are more likely to check out the upcoming trailers and reviews online or get recommendations from friends.
