horror movie high school
Title of an old (70’s/80’s) horror movie about deaths among a group of high school students.?
The only things I really remember about this movie were some of the ways the characters were killed off. One character was a swimmer who always took an early morning swim in the school pool in the dark. The killer drained the pool and he dove off of the high dive into an empty pool. Another character was working underneath a car up on a jack and the killer pushed the car off the jack and onto him. If anyone can remember this movie I’d appreciate knowing the name. It’s one of those little questions that has nagged me and I’ve even tried on “horror” websites and no one else remembers this thing. It might even have been a T.V. movie as I don’t remember it being particularly gory, just scary in a very suspenseful way.
Unfortunately, I not only know the title of this movie but actually own it. I say “unfortunately” because owning it is nothing to be proud of. But the movie you are describing is “Massacre at Central High”, with Andrew Stevens. I think I bought it from Amazon.com. I should add that the DVD does not play in my DVD/VHS player but does work on my computer.
