horror movie pulse

What are the most terrifying movies of all time? Well since this list is totally subjective, I'll give what I believe are best for you can determine where they come down on their list.

What makes a good horror movie scary? In my opinion it is a film that is fascinating, which is the throbbing pulse, which is disturbing and really makes moving around, or should I say turning in his seat. A good horror film is a film fear that keeps you talking for years, sometimes decades after they initially see it. Exotic for me was that the type of movie.

Abroad, though probably more science fiction then was terror, but certainly has all the elements of a great horror film. Can you think of anything more frightening after getting caught, not only in a boat, but also against the vast emptiness of outer space and being relentlessly pursued by the monster in that movie? Makes you glad you were not among those on the boat, no?

The Exorcist is if not the top horror movie on my list is undoubtedly one of the scarier movies top of all time. I think we would agree that if you polled 100 fans of the genre and asked what are the 3 top most horrible movies I've seen all of them would more than likely that The Exorcist place in one of the first 3 places. One of the things that made this great film is its uniqueness. Because the history is based on real events seemed less entertaining, in that conventional Hollywood narrative. Not that it was not entertaining, because it was, but when sitting in the theater and see that after watching the trailers and previews that were often broadcast on television after midnight with the knowledge that the film is based on real events that tend to have more of a profound impact on So stay with you long after the credits.

Yet I remember as a child stay up late watching television in the dark, like I used to do when the preview of this film went on. For fear of the living you know what me. Not only that, every time I came back to my first time because, I quickly go on TV to change the channel. The Exorcist was so dark and disturbing that even a 30-45 second trailer airing on TV was hard to see.

I seriously would be remiss if I did not mention this next film in our discussion of major films. Halloween not only remains a cult classic, but for me a personal favorite of all many horror movies I've ever seen. When I think what made this movie so good and it was evident that a number of factors, but for me was the incredible image Michael Myers by Nick Castle. John Carpenter made you seriously believe that if the "Boogie Man" were ever to take flesh and come to life in his name would be Michael Myers as played by Nick Castle on Halloween.

In our analysis of the key horror films comes to an end I want to talk briefly about another movie that still stands the test of time as one of the greatest horror movies ever and that is Nightmare on Elm Street. Although this film provided a good 90 minutes of escapism for me and others, at least from an entertainment standpoint, it was still disturbing, which required that each of us examine one of the unfortunate realities of life and be our own eventual death. At every horrible in Wes Craven's film constantly reminds us, through his main character brilliantly developed Freddy Krueger (played by Robert Englund), that if asleep or awake, young or old, rich or poor we are absolutely unable to escape death when the time has been for us. For me, my only consolation is knowing that when it comes knocking on my door, Freddy Krueger will not be standing there.
