horror movie saw

I need to know a title for a horror movie I saw long one.?
As I recall it was this monster or zombie like that terrorized a mansion. The monster was a kind of bare, white-ish and carried around a string or something. There was one scene where a man was in the basement or dungeon and I was reading something on the wall with a flashlight and the monster was behind him hiding behind something. If anyone recognizes this movie please let me know! thanks.
… It might be shooting from the hip here, but might perhaps be thinking of the horror movie scary, mysterious and powerful 1995, entitled "Castle Freak??

I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Album $1.99 Teen scream flicks like this one are back in vogue, though what’s really horrifying here is Kula Shaker’s pedestrian cover of Deep Purple’s “Hush;” come in, lads, your 15 minutes is up. Elsewhere, Toad the Wet Sprocket show more teeth than usual in covering “Hey Bulldog,” and Hooverphonic’s brilliant “2Wicky” gets a last-gasp airing. The big news: Adam Cohen debuts with the darkly romantic “Don’t … |

Murder On Beaver Street $5.78 This is dark instrumental surf music. Reminiscent of classic surf artists, Dick Dale & the Del-Tones and The Ventures but with a darker modern twist. Murder On Beaver Street shifts between different styles within the surf genre. For example, the fast picking style of Dick Dale, the spaghetti western feel of Ennio Morricone, and the primitive rock and roll style of Link Wray…. |

Ghost Ship [Original Motion Picture Soundtrack] $17.98 If the idea behind director John Beck’s nautical frightfest isn’t exactly new–long-lost ship is mysteriously found floating at sea–the filmmaker invests it with a smart sense of style and tension that lifts it above its horror-exploitation roots. The brooding orchestral score from composer John Frizzell (13 Ghosts, Beautiful, Alien Resurrection) conjures up the appropriate atmosphere of forebodi… |

I Saw What You Did [VHS] $14.98 “The telephone was the star of my next film,” writes William Castle in his autobiography Step Right Up! I’m Gonna Scare the Pants Off America as he describes I Saw What You Did, a lightweight thriller about two schoolgirls and a prank phone call that backfires with a vengeance. When the girls whisper “I saw what you did, and I know who you are” to a perfect stranger, little do they know he has jus… |

Texas Chainsaw Massacre [VHS] $19.98 This sensational, extremely influential, 1974 low-budget horror movie directed by Tobe Hooper (Poltergeist, Lifeforce, Salem’s Lot), may be notorious for its title, but it’s also a damn fine piece of moviemaking. And it’s blood-curdling scary, too. Loosely based on the true crimes of Ed Gein (also a partial inspiration for Psycho), the original Jeffrey Dahmer, Texas Chainsaw Massacre follows a gro… |

The Exorcist (The Version You’ve Never Seen) $4.40 Director William Friedkin was a hot ticket in Hollywood after the success of The French Connection, and he turned heads (in more ways than one) when he decided to make The Exorcist as his follow-up film. Adapted by William Peter Blatty from his controversial bestseller, this shocking 1973 thriller set an intense and often-copied milestone for screen terror with its unflinching depiction of a young… |

Saw: The Final Chapter $4.71 All gross things must come to an end–even the Saw franchise, which reaches its terminal point with this seventh feature (its first released in 3D in theaters). “Franchise” actually isn’t the proper term for the grisly series; each new film might be best described as the latest model, like a car or a DVD player, since the mechanics of the infernal machines created and unleashed by the morally driv… |
