Harry Potter SPOILER Question About the book and movie "The Order of the Phoneix"?
I saw the movie when it came out and I just did with the book. I just I can not believe that many of the things I read in the book was not included in the film and things changed. Ex Cho was the one who betrayed the DA in the film when the book was his friend. I can not just get over it. There was much more in the book that should have been included. I was wondering if anyone else felt well.
Well, the movie is never as good as the book. Books can encompass much more, get a movie can not in detail, etc. The movies are very expensive to make, and all that is rented equipment, the stars have to be paid, etc very quickly. Then consider that most of the scenes who fired more than once, sometimes more than 50 times. If the light fades right, have to wait until tomorrow (or some future day) to shoot the scene add to the cost. And then try to squeeze one of Rowling's books in just 2 hours – can not be done without glossing over too. The committee that decides what will go to the movies and what is left out to think about what is the most important subject. And sometimes they have to change (the introduction of "Marietta", when it was Cho a recognizable character would be a little confusing and taken time to explain who she was, its importance). It's like spaghetti: the book is as delicious tasty rich, serving homemade spaghetti that makes you go "ahhhh, ummmm," the movie is more like Chef Boyardee – good for what it is but just not the same. If you think of them as completely different animals (Chef Boyardee spaghetti is not, but that other canned material pastaesque), fine. That's why we read books – books always (well, a good one anyway) contains much more, it fills a whole lot of interesting and important details that you never film. These people who do not read books miss sooo much and I feel sorry for them. You can enjoy each for what is simply no comparison. By the way, I think Yates did a job as in OOTP – but it's only director.
