saw movie story

What is the history of movie making?
hello, I've seen the movie yesterday.some doubt who the man is old in the film shown in the first scene and the last thing I want to say a very old man? by DiCaprio was just going to find? why his wife is Stabinger? and how a person may be in the sleep of others and to control it in real life? scentificaly is possible?
i saw him yesterday, the film BRILLIANT! I think the reason formal (the wife) was stabbed because he was thought that if she killed him he remained faithful to her in dreams?! I do not know .. but amazing movie. and I loved it when he kissed Arther Ariadna! I wished they showed more of them together!
Xoxo Jules
