horror movie poster tutorial

A couple of years I was teaching salsa for beginners, I realized that many of my students had trouble finding the ONE. This is one aspect de la Salsa, where a lot of people struggle, and it is difficult to teach someone to find the ONE. Against my common sense, shouting at them does nothing!

I know it was hard as a beginner to find the ONE, so this is a small tutorial I wrote. If you have learned the basic salsa step, which is now well familiar with the "one two three … five six seven …". A total of eight counts of sauce base, two of which pauses (in four and eight). The reason for this is that salsa music phrases are 8 measures long, which are divided into two bars of four times. A phrase in music could be considered as a prayer. Contains a developed country "idea"

The tension generated in the first four days has been fixed in the last four years. This also is called a "call and response" pattern. The first bar makes the call and the second responds. If only kept the first four times, would have a sentence incomplete, since there is no one solution or answer.
So in this case, we have a phrase that is eight long shots. Another way to think of a phrase is seen as an autonomous musical pattern that can be repeated many times.

How to find?

Many people who are new to Salsa are able to do the basic step basic guidelines without much problem. What is more difficult however, is making the patterns over time, which for many is the most difficult to learn salsa. Anyone can memorize dozens of patterns, but dance is what separates time beginners to advanced. So how do you learn to dance the rhythm of the music? It turns out that there are a couple of tricks you can learn to distinguish which begins ONE. When you have learned simple tricks, you will be able to begin construction Salsa beat your intuition.

Once you are able to find the musical phrases in music, who are particularly easy to listen to the piano, then you need to predict when the next musical phrase beginning, or when the sentence begins again. The pace at which it starts again is the ONE. Often it is where the music is stronger, as many musical instruments come together in that rhythm.

When you're dancing in the "one" (or for that matter vocalizing 1,2,3 .. 5,6,7 ..), you should feel a connection with the melody.

Tips on finding the rhythm of Salsa:

1) When listening to music salsa, vocalize either aloud or in your head every position, ie 1,2,3 .. 5,6,7 ..
2) Practice of listening to different sentences piano (monotonous) to develop intuition to predict changes in the melody. The changes in the music above all produce the ONE.
