With the continued increase in the influence of the gambling industry on popular culture, it is logical related merchandise that would demand, and certainly has been.

The two big names I'm talking about here are Gears of War and Halo. While the range Halo has grown with two sets of action figures this year, manufacturers have also diversified into statues, wide format headknockers, posters, calendars and fir for garments demanding fan. The success of the Halo range is slightly dwarfed by the huge demand for goods based on the Gears of War.

Fortunately NECA has created some great items to keep fans in the boiling point, with some of the most action figures have been on the market in years. The Gears of War figures are a larger format for most data sets and have a much higher level of detail as well as improved packaging and accessories. The box sets have been hot sellers, and each of the three released so far with four separate figures.

Other games that have appeared in Figure action of the hooks in 2008 include Call of Duty, Final Fantasy, Street Fighter, Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Mario Brothers and more, demonstrating that even have more ttiles some influence with the fans.

Star Wars was present again this year thanks to tie-in merchandise from the new Clone Wars movie and series television. A surprising thing this year running television and film related products has been the demand of the range "classic" Doctor Who Figures action, which exceeded all expectations and have been snapped up by fans and collectors of left, right and center.

Movie merchandise has been something of a resurgence as well, and a very popular in recent times has been the puppet from SAW tricycle 12 inches square set, which represents the famous doll Billy's horror franchise, which, of course, had launched its fifth installment in the latter part of the year. Other officers of terror based on the articles have included a magnificent 12-inch version of Jason Voorhees and more, only goes to show that fans still want blood. Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk and The Dark Knight have had their parts to play this year, and some fantastic merchandise has been available.

Music fans enjoyed the new figures of Joey Ramone, Lemmy of Motorhead, two new Elvis Presley pictures and two new headknockers Elvis. Although the number of new elements into the music will have been rather thin on the ground, the Demand is definitely more.

The market for licensed memorabilia from all corners of popular culture has witnessed a definitive recovery in 2008 despite of the economic problems facing the world, and collectibles that these perfect Christmas gifts. Goods industry is now even more a part of culture and popular media is based on than ever, even going so far as they were fundamental to the continued life of the entertainment industry itself, to some point. While DVD sales are keeping alive the film and slowly raising revenue, the future is the world looking for more solid action figure, and there are many, many more to be collected in 2009. The winners of this year must be in the ranges of video games, and in particular, Gears of War, which seems to have won the battle of 2008.
